Access or identification cards characterised by the fact that no physical contact with the reading device is necessary to read them. They are regulated by the provisions of international standard ISO 15693 and operate by radio-frequency, with a built-in antenna that activates the chip through a radio signal. The card must be placed at a distance of no more than 100 cm from the coupler.
